A Bunny’s Tale

Yesterday I spent a lot of quality time with my humans allowing them to get used to my presence. Eventually I hope they’ll trust me enough to let me go wherever I please, but until then I guess I’ll just have to play by their rules. They’re fussy creatures, humans, always worrying about one thing or another. Just because I like to hang out in the corner of the room doesn’t mean I’m depressed! I actually quite like my life, especially now that I have soft things to play with.

On that note, I reacquainted myself with the colorful blanket today, licking it with excessive care, as I think it likes. My humans got so excited when I got happy and hopped around; they seem to like it when I kick my feet into the air. Girl human suggested that maybe I was in love with the blanket, since it was after licking that that I decided to show my glee. They can think what they want! They’re silly creatures, indeed.

Tried to get behind the turtle’s tank again today. Don’t they know that I’m just looking for food? Anyway, as usual, they were so not into letting me do that, and used tones that noted as such. I think we’re communicating a little better now, though. I better understand when they’re trying to discipline me and they better understand when I’m just trying to explore and see what’s up.

Boy Human even let me march around his back triumphantly. I was so happy that my humans came down to my level, laying stomachs onto the floor to look at me face-to-face. It’s so much more fun crawling on top of them than it is trying to hop onto their laps.

Well I have to go now, it’s time to run around the house and make sure everything is where it’s supposed to be! I’ll probably post more pictures than word entries because it’s easier that way, but I’ll hop in (get it?) and let you know how my humans are doing from time to time.
